Football Update #14

Player of the Week

Zac (Year 8) pulled off some incredible saves showing cat-like reflexes to get the U13As into the next round of the Sutton Cup. Year 12 pupils Zeph and Josh were outstanding for the 1st XI in their win against Esher College. Luca (Year 12) helped himself to a hat-trick for the 4th XI in their win over ACS. Kalash (Year 8) showed composure and technique in controlling the game for the U13Bs. Player of the Week is U12A Centre Forward Jad who scored seven goals in three games - he was a livewire in every game.

Team of the Week

The U13Bs showed real quality in their football to beat Salesians 6-0 and on the same day, the U14Bs were determined to not let their lead slip winning 1-0. The U13As National Cup dream came to an end losing to Dover 2-1 in the last 32 of the country. All the squad should be proud of their fine cup run. The U14As started the football year where they left off before Christmas with two wins and two clean sheets, one of them against the always strong Hampton. Team of the Week are the U12As who had a fabulous start to 2025. They beat Epsom, City Of London, and Salesians College, scoring sixteen without conceding a single goal.
