Football Update #15

Player of the Week

The 1st XI made it three clean sheets in the last four games and their defensive machine continues to be led by the experienced centre back Dino (Year 13). There were hat-tricks galore this week, Will (Year 7) and Daniel (Year 7) got one each for the U12Bs. Omer (Year 7) scored a fantastic four goals for the U12As in their win against Judd. Another hat-trick hero was Aariv (Year 9), he completed his hat-trick for the U14Bs with a delightful chip over the goalkeeper. Player of the Week is Abish (Year 8) - not content with one hat-trick, Abish helped himself to two!! [Editor's note - second exclamation mark warranted here!]. He scored a remarkable six goals for the U13Cs! Well done Abish.

Team of the Week

There was cup success for the 1st XI as they marched on to the Surrey Cup quarter final, following a comprehensive 3-0 win against Holly Field. The U12As and U12Bs continue their fine season with strong victories over Judd. The U14Bs produced their best display of the season in beating City of London. The whole side was full of energy pressing from the front and playing some exquisite football. Well done to our teams on Saturday, who all played up a level against Sutton and there were magnificent wins for the U14Cs and U13Cs. The U13Cs win team of the week for an incredible half of football where they scored six goals without reply versus Sutton U13Bs.
