On Thursday, 23 May 2024 in the Recital Hal, Britton Centre, a select number of year 8 musicians performed a wonderful evening of music to their friends and families, hosted and accompanied by Dr. Clayden and Mr. Karl Kramer. The performing students were extremely encouraging of each other, attentive listeners as audience members, and performed with a raw honesty, showing maturity that music so often brings out in young players. An exciting range of music was performed including Claude Debussy’s Préludes for solo piano, Bach’s Bourrée Cello suite for classical guitar, native American traditional Shenandoah and much more.
