Senior Production update

The cast and crew at Wilson’s have been busy with last minute rehearsals for our senior production of ‘Parade’. Showing on Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th next week, our actors are ready to take to the stage.
Soon, the transformation of the JJ Hall will be complete and our audience will find themselves transported to another place and time. The last week has been a particularly busy time for Mr Kavanagh and the crew. The set has to be built, painted and dressed. Specifically, this production requires seating to be erected and a special floor to be laid. The lighting plot also takes hours to work out, involving several very late nights.
Importantly, Mr Kavanagh's attention to detail is second to none. He will persevere until he is completely happy that the vision he has had in his head all these months finally takes shape.
It's always exciting to welcome the cast back to the JJ Hall to see what the crew have achieved through great team work and we want to welcome you too! So please book your tickets on Arbor for £9 and support the school.
This show is a true but dramatised account of the trial and conviction of a man whose only crime was being an outsider. Remember that going to the theatre is educational as well as entertaining. Don't miss out on this opportunity. If you can't make it, why not ask your son if he would like to come along - offer to buy him a ticket.
The show starts at 7pm and will finish around 9.30pm. It will certainly be of interest to anyone studying English, History, Philosophy or Music and definitely for those who think that Law might be something they are interested in pursuing.
Encourage your son to embody the school motto of Non Sibi Sed Omnibus — Not For Oneself But For All! By coming along, you will be supporting the school, our Drama Department, and your son's education.
