Rehearsals for this production began in October 2020, and went so well that Mr Kavanagh ended up ditching the published translation in favour of making a fresh adaptation himself. However, despite the best efforts of cast and crew, the play was never able to be staged, as a result of the COVID lockdowns. Determined not to be defeated, the cast decided instead to make a recording of the show. The resulting audiobook can be accessed below or downloaded here.
