Vertical Tutoring
On Tuesday, all students in the school took part in the first Vertical Tutor group session of the year.
This brought the pupils together in cross year-group groups allowing them to share opinions on a variety of questions all on the theme of charitable giving.
They enjoyed the opportunity to be able to interact with every other year group in the school in a small classroom environment as well as finding out more information about Wilson’s selected charity this year Great Ormond Street Hospital.
This initiative, which has been a fixture of the school calendar for a number of years, gives the younger pupils an opportunity to converse with and hear the opinions of the older students.
Beyond this, the Sixth Formers are also given a platform to improve their leadership skills as they chair and lead the discussions.
