Mark your calendars for 24th September 2024 - Wilson's Giving Day is back!

After the success of our inaugural campaign in 2022, Wilson's Giving Day 2024 (WGD2024) offers an opportunity for the whole Wilson's community to unite in their support for the school.

What is Wilson’s Giving Day?

Wilson’s Giving Day is an event where our community comes together to support the school and our exciting development projects. It’s a day to celebrate the power of giving and to show how small acts of kindness can lead to significant changes. Whether it’s through donations or spreading the word, everyone in the school community has an important role to play.

Our Target for 2024

This year, we have set an ambitious target. Our main objective is to raise £50,000 to refurbish and equip a laboratory as part of our 2024 Campaign for Science. With the support of our parents, alumni, and friends of the school, the Development Team are confident the school community can work together to achieve our goal.

Additionally, we are actively seeking matched donors to support our fundraising efforts - doubling the impact of every contribution accelerates our fundraising and is a proven way to encourage donations from donors across the board.

How You Can Get Involved

There are numerous ways for you to participate in Wilson’s Giving Day 2024:

1. Donate: Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. You will be able to donate online through our secure platform, via PayPal Giving or by making a bank transfer.
2. Spread the Word: Share our campaign on social media, tell your friends and family, and help us reach a wider audience. We will be running most of our campaign on Instagram - follow our account @WilsonsGivingDay2024 for key updates and information.

Special Event and Activity

To make this day even more special, we have planned an exciting event:

• All-Day Mario Kart Racing: On 27th September 2024, our Lecture Theatre will be transformed into an arena for an all-day Mario Kart Racing event streamed on the big screen. Pupils and staff will compete against each other in a fun and friendly competition with all participants paying a £1 entry fee which will be added to our overall fundraising total for WGD2024.
